What is Partnership Firm Registration?
A partnership firm is formed when two or more persons agree to run a business together and share its profits. It is governed by the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, and the partnership deed sets out each partner's capital, profit share, duties and exit terms.
Registration with the Registrar of Firms is optional but strongly advised. An unregistered firm cannot file a case against a third party or a partner to enforce rights under the deed.
