What is LLP Registration?
A Limited Liability Partnership is registered under the LLP Act, 2008. It is a separate legal entity, partners' liability is limited to their agreed contribution, and one partner is not liable for another partner's misconduct.
LLPs have lower compliance than companies: no mandatory audit until turnover crosses ₹40 lakh or contribution crosses ₹25 lakh. This makes it popular with professional firms, consultancies and small businesses.
